ALACHUA COUNTY, FL — The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office hosted its annual Thanksgiving luncheon yesterday, celebrating with current employees and retirees. The event, organized by Shining Light, a non-profit dedicated to supporting staff and their families, highlighted the agency’s community spirit.

Shining Light focuses on providing aid during emergencies, whether natural or man-made, and fostering a sense of unity within the agency. Their work also includes funding holiday celebrations, emphasizing the importance of togetherness and support among the staff.
